Overview of the Development Executive Watchboard

The Development Executive Watchboard gives executives a consolidated view of franchise growth and attrition by combining deals, openings, projections, transfers, and closures into a single dashboard. With new widgets for tracking location transfers and terminated sites, leaders can quickly monitor ownership changes, identify risks, and assess overall performance across the network. By applying filters and combining insights, this dashboard helps decision-makers better manage the full franchise lifecycle and make informed strategic choices.

Accessing the Development Executive Watchboard

To access the Development Executive Watchboard, first log into your FranConnect environment. On the left-hand sidebar, click Analytics.

On the following page, click Develop on the left-hand side and then click View on the Development Executive Watchboard.

This will take you to the Development Executive Watchboard.

The Development Executive Watchboard offers an overview of multiple data points to help you monitor growth and attrition in your franchise network. Let's take a closer look at each of these data points individually.

Sales KPI Cards

The first three KPI cards on the Development Executive Watchboard are pulled from data in your Sales module. Let's take a closer look at each one.

  • Deals Signed: Shows you the total number of deals that have been signed during the time period selected in the filters above the card
  • Total Blocked Seed: Shows you the total number of blocked seeds during the time period selected in the filters above the card
  • # of Locations: Shows you the total number of locations that have been opened during the time period selected in the filters above the card

Opener KPI Cards

The last two KPI cards on the Development Executive Watchboard are pulled from data in your Opener module. Let's take a closer look at each one.

  • Projected Openings: Shows you the number of openings that were projected for the time period selected in the filters above the card
  • Actual Opening: Shows you the number of actual openings that occurred during the time period selected in the filters above the card

Transfer Locations

The "Transfer Locations" card shows you the number of locations that were transferred during the dates selected on the filters above the card.

Terminated Locations

The "Terminated Locations" card shows you the number of locations that were terminated during the dates selected on the filters above the card.

Milestone Dates

The "Milestone Dates" card shows you the total number of units with a milestone date in the denoted time range for each possible milestone date.
