Team Accessibility & Post Visibility

Every team has an Accessibility setting that is the single control governing both who can see the team and who can see the posts shared to it—no additional permissions are required. Where teams previously offered only Public and Private, there are now three options:

Option Who can see the team and its posts
Private Creator only. Retained for draft or work-in-progress teams. Behaviour is unchanged.
Public – Single Brand Members All team members within the same brand as the creator. Members see each other and posts within their brand scope.
Public – Multi-Brand Members All team members regardless of brand, location, or division. Members see each other and posts across the full network within the team context.

Worked Example: How Accessibility Controls Post Visibility

Jane and Alex are associated with Brand A, while Sam is associated with Brand B. Jane creates a post about a Brand A promotion.

Accessibility setting Who can see the post? Visibility
Private Jane only Only the post creator can view the post.
Public – Single Brand Members Jane and Alex Members associated with the same brand as the post creator can view the post. Sam cannot view it because he is associated with Brand B.
Public – Multi-Brand Members Jane, Alex, and Sam All team members can view the post, regardless of their brand association.

In summary: Select Private for creator-only content, Public – Single Brand Members for brand-specific posts, or Public – Multi-Brand Members for posts intended for members across different brands.

Setting a Team’s Accessibility

Follow these steps to choose how a team and the posts within it are shared.

Go to The Hub › Teams, then click Create Team.

Enter the Team ID, Name, and an optional Description.

Open the Accessibility list and review the three options.
