Internet Browsers
Tip: Sometimes a hard refresh is enough to clear the browser's cache. You can achieve this by pressing CTRL+F5 (PC) or CMD+R (Mac). Try this before using any of the below instructions.
Google Chrome
- Click on the menu icon (top right), then go to "Settings"
- Scroll down, then click on the "Advanced" button/link
- Go to 'Privacy and security → Clear browsing data'
- Once the pop-up window appears, select the time-frame you want to remove the data from, then uncheck all options, except for "Cached images and files"
- Click on the "CLEAR BROWSING DATA" button (as below)
Mozilla Firefox
- Click on the menu icon (top right), then go to "Options"
- Click on the "Advanced" menu option (left side)
- Go to the "Network" tab
- Click on the "Clear Now" button in the 'Cached Web Content' section (as below)
Apple Safari
- Go to 'Edit → Empty Cache...'
- Click on the "Empty" button (as below)
Internet Explorer (v11+)
- Go to 'Tools → Delete Browsing History'
- Once the pop-up window appears, uncheck all options, except for "Temporary Internet files and website files"
- Click on the "Delete" button (as below)
Microsoft Edge
- Click on the menu icon (top right), then go to "Settings"
- Click on the "Choose what to clear" button under 'Clear browsing data'
- Click on the "Show more" button/link
- Uncheck all options, except for "Cached data and files"
- Click on the "Clear" button (as below)
Opera
- Click on the menu icon (top left), then go to "Settings"
- Go to the "Privacy & security" tab
- Click on the "Clear browsing data..." button under 'Location'
- Once the pop-up window appears, select the time-frame you want to remove the data from, then uncheck all options, except for "Cached images and files"
- Click on the "Clear browsing data" button (as below)
Mobile Devices
iOS (Safari Mobile)
- Go to 'Settings → Safari'
- Scroll down, then click on the "Clear History and Website Data" button
- Click on the "Clear History and Data" button (as below)
Note: Be advised that this will clear the history and data for any/all websites that you visited. Unfortunately Apple Safari does not allow you to specify.
Tip: If you are experiencing issues with your app, it is recommended to delete the app and re-download + install it. This will be a clean install without any cached data.
Android
- Open up the app drawer, then go to 'Settings → Applications manager'
- Scroll through the list and find + select your platform's app
- Click on "Storage"
- Click on the "CLEAR CACHE" button (as below)
Attention: Due to the wide range of devices that use the Android operating system, accessing the application manager may be different to what's specified above. Please refer to your device's user manual to determine where to find this setting.
