Activity Feed Widget

We have introduced a new Dashboard Widget called 'Activity Feed' that shows the most recent 100 posts (in the user's country). It is the primary way for users to keep up-to-date with social activity happening on the platform.

Note: Posts shown in the 'Activity Feed' widget are sorted by the most amount of likes (in descending order). Also, only self-posts from 'active' users will appear.

In the case where no likes are present, the posts will be sorted by date (in descending order).

The activity feed widget will be disabled for all Brands upon release but can be enabled just like any other widget by going to:

 SystemSystem ConfigurationDashboard

Note: For more information about controlling access to the Activity Feed including how to enable/disable it for different user groups, see Social Permissions.

The activity feed shows self-posts made by all users in their country and self-posts made by World Managers. Each post contains:

  • The user's name (with a hyperlink to their profile)
  • The user's profile picture
  • The content of the post
  • A Like button, with a count of how many likes the post has received

Moving the activity feed widget

To move the activity feed to a different position on the dashboard:

  1. Select Customise located in the top-left of the home page.
  2. Click the Activity Feed heading and drag it to your desired position.
  3. Select Done to save the position of the activity feed.

As we continue to work on our social learning and gamification updates, new features and functionality will be added allowing you to customise what's in the feed.

If you have any feedback or suggestions, we'd love to hear from you. Please feel free to get in touch with your Relationship Manager, or email wmsupport@franconnect.com.
