Platform administrators have the ability to enable & configure custom permissions for admin and manager-level accounts. This allows you to have further control over the various suites & tools they get default access to based on their account group.
Enabling Custom Permissions
To enable custom permissions on an account, please do the following:
- Edit the user's profile
- Go to the 'Account' tab and find the 'Permissions' field.
- Choose the 'Custom' option to show the full list of available custom permissions
- Go through the list and enable/disable
- Once you have finished configuring the user's custom permissions, scroll down and click on the "Save" or "Update" button (for new or existing users, respectively)
Tip: If you have a large amount of users you need to apply custom permissions to (e.g. more than 10), our Support Team can do this in bulk for you. You just need to provide them with the account IDs or usernames of the users, as well as provide the name of an account that already has the custom permissions you require to use as a template to copy from.
To get the account IDs or usernames, you can run an Account Reports in the Stats and Reports tool. Please refer to this article for more information: Account Reports

Below is a list of all of the permissions available to provide or remove access to. By unticking a permission, you remove the user's ability to access that specific suite and/or tool.

**One important thing to note, is that the 'Contract Generation' related permissions (under Human Resources) are disabled by default. So in order to provide a manager-level account with access to the Contract Generation tool, you must first enable custom permissions on their account, and subsequently, enable the relevant Contract Generation permissions from the list that appears.
