World Manager Release Notes 2018

This page outlines all platform and app releases of note. Generally speaking, all releases are done on a Tuesday or Wednesday of any given week. This includes bug fixes and new features. The below lists historical release information as well as any upcoming releases:

Platform v9.1.2 (December 19, 2018)

The following outlines bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed performance issue when loading service desk ticket page for some users
  • Fixed issue where some Notices could not be created if attached content is not set
  • Fixed issue where some video controls would disappear after starting a Video Widget
  • Fixed issue where some graphs could not be loaded at World Level
  • Fixed issue where duplicate Service Desk tickets were appearing for some users in the My Task Widget
  • Fixed issue where copying Qualifications in the Education Suite did not copy contents

Platform v9.1.1 (December 6, 2018)

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed performance issue when loading the Service Desk homepage
  • Fixed issue where location information did not load for some locations
  • Fixed Goals timezone issue where start time was appearing incorrectly for some accounts
  • Removed the ability for Administrators to Emulate to candidates and view contract details in My Details

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Manuals and Files Release 9.1 - Full list of enhancements in this release can be found HERE
  • Added the ability for Administrators to still view Manuals and Files page when the manage permission was applied to an administrator account
  • Fixed issue in the Education Suite where certain fields in the trainee application form did not appear when appearing in PDF view
  • Fixed issue where updating My Task Widget settings prevented some users from accessing the My Tasks Widget
  • Fixed issue where some videos did not resize correctly when downloaded from Notices
  • Adjusted test due date calculation so that refreshed mandatory tests do not display as overdue immediately after refresh
  • Fixed issue with Service Desk dates when exported uses the incorrect time zone for some users

  • Compatibility changes for Manuals & Files tool enhancements

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed issue where clicking on a Forum thread with images downloaded all images
  • Fixed issue where clicking on an Image Gallery folder downloaded all images instead of preview
  • Fixed issue where External Links used in SCORM could not redirect back into the platform preventing completion
  • Fixed issue where some Image Widgets using external links to Manuals and Files did not open

Platform v9.0.15 (November 8, 2018)

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed issue where the old help button was visible on the dashboard
  • Fixed issue where Multi-Area Managers could see other Area Managers stats in Area Performance
  • Fixed issue where some Exit Interviews did not deactivate after (X) amount of days

  • Fixed issue on some devices where External Links in Manuals and Files could not open
  • Fixed issue where the filename was not showing when downloading files from Manuals and Files

Platform v9.0.14 (September 11, 2018)

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed Appraisal acknowledgement issue affecting some mobile devices
  • Fixed download error appearing in Recruitment, Forums and Custom File Upload fields
  • Fixed file access permission error shown when an administrator account uploads a file and the account is downgraded to lower level account group
  • Fixed issue with Sign off description name where the name was saved and truncated if over 100 characters 

Platform v9.0.13 (September 6, 2018)

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Introduced new reporting fields in Downloaded File Report in Employee Activity Reports to include tools other than Manuals and Files
  • Fixed issue where Downloaded File Report listed the file description name, not the actual file name
  • Fixed issue where an error was shown in Employee Activity Report for E-Learning when date range was used
  • Fixed rounding inconsistency for Questionnaires where completion percentages were rounding up, instead of down
  • Fixed issue where some files could not be downloaded from Applicant Profile in Recruitment
  • Fixed issue where some files could not be downloaded from Custom File Upload fields for Accounts and Locations
  • Fixed issue where some files could not be downloaded from Forum Replies

Platform v9.0.12 (August 29, 2018)

The following outlines bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed issue on add widget page where not all widget types were available on mobile devices
  • Added .DOTX Microsoft Word template files to be uploaded as allowed file types
  • Fixed issue where some completion rate percentages in Stats and Reports were not be ordered numerically
  • Fixed issue where Image Gallery timestamps did not account for time zones
  • Fixed issue where the date field in the calendar was cut off for survey tools when not viewed in full screen

Platform v9.0.11 (August 22, 2018)

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Introduced completion percentage results to 1 decimal place for all Stats and Reports
  • Fixed rounding issue where completion percentages were rounding up, instead of down
  • Fixed issue where the View Learning Content button was not appearing for managers when a module status was 'Not Attempted' or 'In Progress'
  • Fixed issue on Applicant profile page where file uploads were appearing next to the question in Recruitment
  • Fixed issue where Administrators could not 'Force Complete' or 'Reset' Appraisals where quotations were used in the name
  • Re-added the Prior Qualifications Section of the enrolment form for Education Suite
  • Fixed issue where PDFs could not be printed in Contract Generation when special characters were used in fields
  • Fixed issue where deleted content was shown in Employee Activity Report causing an error message
  • Fixed issue where apostrophes in PDFs were not appearing correctly for some tools

Platform v9.0.10 (August 1, 2018)

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Removed View Learning Content button from managers view of employee module results if a module has been force completed or has no score
  • Fixed issue where some SCORM module scores without inbuilt scoring show as 0%. These now display as -
  • Fixed issue where force completed modules show score as 0%. These now display as -
  • Fixed issue where Area Managers and General Managers could not print Appraisals
  • Fixed issue where the 'Unfinished Application Reminder' email template in Recruitment was using an incorrect link to the application form

Platform v9.0.9 (July 25, 2018)

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Removed X (close) button on the final slide of E-Learning questionnaires if the Exit button is visible
  • Fixed issue deleting an Appraisal that was linked to a KPI Template
  • Fixed issue where Service Desk tickets could be moved to 'inactive' categories
  • Fixed issue with account creation where the Multiarea/Multilocation options were not showing values from the selected country
  • Fixed issue with Training Academy where Fuel Gauges (sections) were being unlocked incorrectly
  • Fixed issue with Menu Toolbox & Header not being disabled when forced to view/read mandatory content

Platform v9.0.8 (July 18, 2018)

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Removed Save and Exit button on SCORM modules if the Finish button is visible
  • Fixed issue with Sign Off Comment report where Sign Offs were appearing outside of the selected date range
  • Fixed spacing issue in PDF documents for Contract Generation
  • Fixed permissions error shown for some accounts accessing an E-learning module

Platform v9.0.7 (July 5, 2018)

The following outlines bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed issue where Administrator accounts not targeted for Notices could not download attachments from the edit/view page
  • Fixed ACTIV full-screen size issue on mobile devices
  • Fixed issue with PDF previewer not loading on IE11
  • Fixed issue where users could not upload files to Manuals and Files

Platform v9.0.6 (June 27, 2018)

The following outlines bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed issue with National Email Templates not applying correctly for Location Reviews
  • Fixed issue where Incident Reports showed inconsistent date formatting when exported to excel
  • Fixed issue where non-image attachments in Forum tool could not be previewed

Platform v9.0.5 (June 20, 2018)

A summary of changes and bug fixes outlined in this release:

  • Introduced new features to Appraisals in the Human Resources Suite. Including Force Complete/Reset Function and Linking Questions for Peer Appraisals. For full details on these changes Click HERE
  • Introduced Force Update feature for Countries, which applied bulk field updates to Accounts and locations. For full details on these changes Click HERE 
  • Added company name tag to Contract Generation Email Templates
  • Fixed issue loading emulation, showing an error for some users
  • Updated `addAccount` method in v4 of our SOAP API
  • Fixed issue where Contract Generation emails were sending with Email Templates disabled

Platform v9.0.4 (June 13, 2018)

The following outlines bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed issue where some SCORM modules could not be reviewed via 'Review Module'
  • Fixed issue when selecting specific Notices in Stats and Reports was affecting performance
  • Fixed issue where if a file attachment has an apostrophe in the file name, it caused a page error
  • Fixed issue where Notice email attachments were being sent when not selected
  • Fixed issue where users could reply to their own Notice
  • Fixed issue where Account Group was not shown in the detailed report for Internal Surveys when exported to excel
  • Introduced PDF attachments to be previewed before downloading
  • Introduced username and password security for custom scripts and reports

Platform v9.0.3 (May 25, 2018)

The following outlines bug fixes and changes for this release:

  • Introduced a 'Privacy Information' link in the footer that links to our 'Privacy Portal' on our Website
  • Fixed issue where Location and Account reports could not be exported as PDF
  • Fixed issue where images were being stripped from survey tool emails by reducing the image file size in the attachment
  • Fixed issue where loading My Task Widget for Manuals and Files caused slow performance for Administrators

Platform v9.0.2 (May 16, 2018)

The following outlines bug fixes and changes for this release:

  • Custom Fields have been removed from Accounts and Locations pages and can now be found in System Configuration at World and National Level. More details on these change can be found HERE
  • Fixed issue with Saved Reports where frequency set to monthly was not auto-generating reports
  • Fixed issue with date selectors for Incident Reports and Location Reviews where invalid dates could be selected e.g. February 30th
  • Fixed issue where graph reports in Stats and Reports were not generating
  • Fixed issue where videos were not loading in Notice Widgets
  • Added the ability to select a signature style and text to the Sign step of Contract Generation
  • Migration of all Notice attachments into Content File System (CFS)

Platform v9.0.1 (May 10, 2018)

The following outlines bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed issue where users could not preview SCORM that uses a query string in entrypoint
  • Fixed issue where users were unable to export Employee Activity Report in Excel
  • Added the ability for administrators to add other administrators to the 'Add another Interview' field in Recruitment. This includes World and National Level accounts.
  • Fixed issue on Manuals and Files page where status was not saving once clicked
  • Fixed issue where some reports in Stats and Reports were not exporting PDFs on iOS
  • Fixed issue where the 'Most Recent Posts' Widget was not being displayed correctly
  • Fixed issue where choosing the Action Plan 'By Whom' field in Incident Reports affected platform performance
  • Fixed modal window on mobile devices where some action buttons were cut off from view in some tools. e.g. Service Desk
  • Fixed issue where no search results were returned when searching Notices when multiple words were used
  • Fixed issue where an incorrect confirmation message was displayed when deleted an account at Store level

  •  Fixed issue with the 'Back' button in the header menu, where it would disappear in some tools
  •  Fixed issue where Image widgets linking to external videos would cause the app to crash
  •  Fixed issue where some tool icons would appear squashed when viewing notification settings on certain devices
  •  Added ability for all National level Stats and Reports to be exported as PDFs

Platform v9.0.0 (April 18, 2018)

A summary of changes outlined in this release:

  • Introduced a new archive country feature when countries are deleted
  • Introduced a separate Acknowledge page when a user is attempting to acknowledge an Appraisal
  • Fixed issue with Recruitment where appointments were defaulting to EST timezone

  • Fixed issue where default PDF templates in System Configuration not applying correctly

  • Fixed issue with SCORM responsiveness on mobile devices
  • Fixed issue with SCORM file from Lectora not passing file validation
  • Fixed issue with Location Review Report where the 'Posted By' field displays as Invalid when no Instructions are entered
  • Fixed issue where the Attachments icon was not appearing in Training Academy Assignments
  • Fixed issue where targeting Stores and Areas in E-Learning specifically prevented access to attached PDF documents
  • Fixed issue where the parent folder was displayed incorrectly when viewing a World Level folder at National Level in Manuals and Files
  • Fixed issue where some file attachments in Services Desk displayed an error

Platform v8.3.2 (February 28, 2018)

The following outlines bug fixes for this release:

  • Fixed performance issue when running Detailed Sign Off Report
  • Fixed issue where False answers to Questionnaires were not appearing
  • Fixed issue where images do not appear when previewing notices before sending
  • Fixed issue with Trainee Activity Report displaying incorrect answers
  • Fixed issue with Training Academy where detailed results were displaying an incorrect score
  • Fixed issue where Notices could not be sent if Notice Title was over 75 characters
  • Fixed quote formatting issue in Forum Widget

Platform v8.3.1 (February 14, 2018)

  • Fixed issue where non-targeted ACTIVs could be selected in E-Learning drop-down list
  • Fixed issue where logging into the careers site went to the wrong URL
  • Introduced Service Desk Ticket Note Notifications
  • Fixed error when copying a Language

Platform v8.3.0 (January 31, 2018)

  • Introduced the Scheduling Suite

Platform v8.2.15 (January 24, 2018)

The following outlines changes and bug fixes for this release:

  • Depreciation of Adobe Flash and the introduction of New Chart Types for Stats and Reports, Forum Stats and Recruitment Stats. Full details can be read HERE
  • Fixed issue where Drag and Drop answers for Questionnaires were cut off on mobile devices
  • Fixed issue where blank screen appeared when updating Custom Fields
  • Fixed issue on Positions page where Position Templates filter not populating correctly

  • New SOAP API v7 Release
  • Fixed issue with incorrect URL appearing for attachments on applicants profile page in Recruitment
  • Fixed issue where Appraisal Notifications were being sent to incorrect accounts
  • Fixed issue where non-alphabetical characters were not picked up in Manuals and Files searches
  • Fixed issue with Rich Text Editor in Recruitment Position Templates
  • Updated Retries phrase in E-learning to include '(Per Question)'
  • Fixed issue where National Managers could not complete items with Lock Fuel Gauge Sequence enabled
  • Updated date range for date type in custom fields
  • Fixed vertical spacing issue on my training page when Custom Achievement Award is given to an account
  • Fixed issue where updating Interview in Recruitment sent the wrong Email Template

Platform v8.2.13 (January 10, 2018)

This release includes exciting recruitment enhancements to the Human Resources Suite including:

  1. National Talent Pool filtering
  2. Talent Pool filtering
  3. Positions List filtering
  4. Share Starred Applicants with all Managers
  5. Ability to Reinstate & Reset Declined Applicant Progress
  6. Ability to Move Applicants to a New Location

  • Fixed issue with Written Tests where targeting specific locations and specific accounts returns a blank page
  • Fixed error when deleting an attachment in Email Templates when attachment has multiple files
  • Updated 'Update Position Template' phrase to 'Update Positionwhen editing a Position
  • Fixed issue where some settings were not carried across from Questionnaire to Position Template in Recruitment
