When leads are being qualified for a new franchise location, they may have a business partner with whom they wish to work. Frequently, it is a spouse joining them on this business venture.
In some cases, the co-applicant may not be included when the prospect first signs up, and the business partner may need to be added at a later time. In this guide, we will walk you through adding a co-applicant to a lead.
Prerequisites
- A lead must already be in the FranConnect system to be added as a co-applicant
Adding a Co-Applicant to a Lead
To add the co-applicant, first navigate to the Lead Management page in the Sales section.
Click the name of the lead you wish to choose and you will be taken to the lead profile. Within the lead profile, click the More-Actions button at the top-right of the screen, and choose Associate Co-Applicant from the drop-down menu.
In the pop-up window, begin typing the name of the co-applicant. Select the name of the correct lead once it populates in the drop-down menu. Then, select the co-applicant relationship from the options in the drop-down menu.
After associating the co-applicant, navigate to the co-applicant's profile. Click on the Co-Applicants tab to confirm that the original lead is also associated.
