Managing Widgets on the Dashboard

This article provides information on the common functionalities of widgets on the dashboard. The dashboard can be accessed by clicking the Home icon in the platform header.

Adding a Widget

Click the Add Widget button in the upper-left corner of the dashboard, and you will be shown all the available widgets that you can add. From here, simply click the name of the widget, or the Add Widget icon on the right, and the widget will appear on your dashboard.

Add Widget page

The Add Widget button will only appear if there are widgets available to be added.

Removing a Widget

To begin removing a widget from your dashboard, Customisation Mode must first be entered by clicking the Customise button in the upper-right corner. In this mode, widgets that can be removed will have a small cross on the right-hand side of its header. Simply click this button to remove the widget.

If the widget does not have a cross in its header, that widget has been locked onto your dashboard by an Administrator.

Moving a Widget

To begin rearranging widgets on your dashboard, Customisation Mode must first be entered by clicking the Customise button in the upper-right corner. In this mode, widgets that can be moved will have dotted borders along its edges. Simply drag the widget by its header to the desired location, and the dashboard will rearrange the rest of the widgets to accommodate this change.
