How to Create a Lead Capture Form and Embed It on Your Website

Creating a New Lead Capture Form and Embedding It on Your Website

To create a new lead capture form, first log into your FranConnect environment. Then, click the gear icon at the top of the page to access your Admin controls.

Click Sales on the left-hand sidebar, and then click Manage Web Form Generator.

Click Create New Form on the following page:

Fill out the basic details as prompted on the next page. Note that the "Secure Webform" option will secure the webform with login credentials when it is sent out to leads.

Click Save & Next once you have confirmed that the selections you have made are correct. On the following page, you will see two tabs - Available Fields and Form Settings.

  • Available Fields: This tab allows the user to add fields to have users enter more information from the lead capture form.
  • Form Settings: This tab allows the user to change the appearance of the form from font/text settings to the way the fields are displayed.

Once you have set up the form and confirmed that your selections are correct, click Save & Next. On the following page, define default values for the fields coming from the web form and choose the confirmation message a person filling out the form will receive.

Click Finish once you have confirmed that the settings you have selected are correct. On the following page, you will be given an IFrame to use to embed the form on your website.

Alternatively, you can also direct leads to the host URL provided on this page. Click OK once you have confirmed this information.

Embedding an Existing Lead Capture Form on Your Website

To embed an existing lead capture form on your website, navigate to the "Web Forms" page as we did in the section above. Click the gear icon next to the form you wish to embed and select Copy URL from the drop-down menu.

Click the radio button next to "IFrame Embed Code" and you will see a line of HTML code that can be used to embed this lead capture form on your website.

Insert this code into your website in the location where you would like the lead capture form to be displayed.
