The below instructions detail the process for:
- Downloading and Installing Your World Manager App
- Logging into Your World Manager App
- Enabling Push Notifications
Note: We recommend using the latest Android version to ensure your devices are running at their best.
Important: Only the latest versions of Android 10 and above are supported. Please refer to the Minimum & Recommended Technical Requirements article for more information.
Downloading and Installing Your World Manager App
If you are installing the app for the first time, please follow the below work instructions before using the app.
Method #1) Via a Browser
1. Open the native browser on your device (in this example, we'll be using Chrome)
2. In the address bar, enter your platform URL, then tap the “→” button
3. At the top of the screen, tap on the “Download” button – this will open the (Google) Play Store app
4. Within the Play Store, tap on the “Install” button
5. Once the install is complete, tap on the "Open" button
Method #2) Via the Play Store
1. Open the ‘Play Store’ app
2. Type FranConnect World Manager in the Search bar
3. Tap on the "FranConnect World Manager" app (within the results page)
4. Tap on the “Install” button
5. Once the install is complete, tap on the "Open" button
Logging into your World Manager App
Once the World Manager app has been successfully installed on your device, you can now log in using the following instructions:
1. Find + open the 'World Manager' app
2. In the text field, enter your platform URL, then tap on the “Continue” button
3. If you have entered a valid platform URL, you will see the following message, then tap on “OK”
Important: As per the message, the app may close. This is required to apply your platform's custom branding and app name. If the app closes, please ensure you reopen it to continue.
4. Enter your credentials, then tap on the "Login" button
Changing Platform URL
Once logged in, you are able to change the platform URL. This is especially handy if you have access to multiple World Manager platforms, allowing you to access & receive notifications from all simultaneously.
You can change the platform URL using the following instructions:
1. Tap on the three (3) dot menu in the top right corner of the app
2. Tap on “Change Platform URL”
3. In the text field, enter a different platform URL, then tap on the “Continue” button
3. If you have entered a valid platform URL, you will see the following message, then tap on “OK”
Important: As per the message, the app may close. This is required to apply your platform's custom branding and app name. If the app closes, please ensure you reopen it to continue.
4. Enter your credentials, then tap on the "Login" button
Enabling Push Notifications
Whilst logged in, access the app menu by tapping on the three (3) dot menu in the top right corner of the app, then tap on the "Notification Settings" option and configure accordingly.
Tip: You can change your app notification settings at any time by accessing the 'Notification Settings' options.
