Updating Your World Manager App

In most cases, the iOS and Android apps will automatically update (via their respective app stores). However, this is not applicable to all devices, in which case, the latest app version will need to be manually installed by the user.

The below article provides instructions on updating your World Manager apps, when a new version is released.

Note: This article is for users that have a World Manager app already installed. If you are looking to install your app for the first time, then please start here instead: Mobile App - Select Your Device Type.

Tip: Using the latest version of the apps ensure the best, and most secure, user experience, as updates contain bug fixes and/or new features.

Updating the iOS App

Important: Only the latest versions of iOS 13, 14, 15 and 16 are supported for the app. For more information, please refer to the Minimum & Recommended Technical Requirements article.

1. Open the ‘App Store’ app

2. Type FranConnect World Manager in the Search bar

3. Tap on the "FranConnect World Manager" app (within the results page)

4. Tap on the “UPDATE” button

5. Once the update is complete, tap on the "OPEN" button

Updating the Android App

Important: Only the latest versions of Android 10 and above are supported for the app. For more information, please refer to the Minimum & Recommended Technical Requirements article.

In most cases, the Android app will automatically update (via the Play Store). However, this is not applicable to all Android devices, in which case, the latest app version will need to be manually installed, as per the instructions below:

1. Open the ‘Play Store’ app

2. Type FranConnect World Manager in the Search bar

3. Tap on the "FranConnect World Manager" app (within the results page)

4. Tap on the “Update” button

5. Once the update is complete, tap on the "Open" button
