Setting Up Zapier to Send Leads to FranConnect

To begin, log into your Zapier account. Navigate to the "Zaps" page, and click the +Create button. Select Zap from the drop-down menu.

Give your Zap a name that will allow for easy identification. Then, use the search bar to find and select Facebook Lead Ads as the trigger app.

Choose New Lead as the trigger event.

Click Save + Continue.

Note: Only new leads will be captured. Leads collected before Zap setup must be exported from Facebook and manually imported into FranConnect via CSV.

Next, click Connect an Account and log into the account tied to your business page. This account must have admin access.

Click Save + Continue after your successful login.

Now, choose your Facebook Page from the drop-down.

Under "Form," select the Lead Form you wish to use.

Click Continue to confirm the connection.

Next, search for and select Email by Zapier as the Action App.

Select Send Outbound Email, and then click Save + Continue.

Configure the email to the FranConnect CRM as follows:

  To: *Enter your FranConnect parsing email address*
  Subject: *Enter Internet as the lead source. This must match
  the Lead Source configured in FranConnect.*

In the Body field, format your message as follows:

Make sure to include at least the Name and Record Type (Lead) fields to ensure leads are processed correctly.

  • For a Contact, only the Name field is required.
  • For a Lead, both Name and Record Type must be included.
  • Make sure Zip Codes are mapped to locations in FranConnect via Admin > Marketing > Zip/Postal Code Locator.

You may choose Skip Test or click Create and Continue to send a test email. If the test is successful, click Finish.

Finally, turn your Zap ON using the toggle switch. Your integration is now live!
