This article provides information on the process of messaging a Contact on the Contact Us list. To begin, open the Contact Us tool from National level by going to: Communication → Contact Us
Here, you will see all the available Contacts that have been setup on your platform, as well as descriptions about those Contacts. To begin messaging one of these Contacts, press the Contact button beneath their image.
Options
The options that are available on this form may vary, depending on how the Contact was setup.
- Contact Anonymously – The availability of this option depends on whether or not its corresponding setting is turned on by administrators. If this option is checked, then the next two fields (Phone and Email) will be removed from the form. The message recipient will not be able to determine who the message is coming from.
- Phone – Your phone number, in case the Contact needs to follow up regarding the contents of the message. This field is pre-populated using the phone number listed against your account details.
- Email – Your email address, in case the Contact needs to follow up regarding the contents of the message. This field is pre-populated using the email listed against your account details.
- Subject – The topic of this message. This will also appear as the subject of the email that gets sent to the Contact.
- Attach File – The availability of this option depends on whether or not its corresponding setting is turned on by administrators. It is a simple file upload field that allows for a single file to be added to the message.
- Message – Rich text editor that allows for the composition of your message. This will act as the main content of the message, and should contain the details regarding your correspondence with the Contact.
Once the form has been filled out, press the Send button to submit the message.
