Searching Accounts

Usage

Performing an account search will attempt to match your search query, exactly as it is entered, with names of accounts in the platform. This includes cases where the search query is a partial match with a name on the platform. Any spaces inside the search query will not act as a divider of keywords in your search – it will be treated as part of the name you are looking for.

Example

You are looking for a user whose name on the platform is John David Smith.

The following queries will find that user:

  • john david
  • david smith
  • vid sm
  • john d
  • john%smith
  • john%s%

The following queries will not find that user:

  • john smith
  • smith john
  • dave

Filters

The account search provides the ability to filter the results by account group. World and Multi National Managers also get an additional filter for Country.
