Creating a Template

To begin creating a new training template, simply click the New Template button in the Training Templates tool (found under the Training Templates tool). Recommended reading includes Template Styles, which covers the ways in which the different settings on this page come together.

Common Options

There are varying options available on this page, depending on the Style chosen for the template (determined by the Style Template option). This section covers the common options – those that are found in more than one of the Styles.

Name – The main reference given to this template. This is the name that will appear in the list of templates when viewed in the Training Templates tool, as well as when a template is being chosen for a module.

Style Template – Dropdown used to select which Style this template should use. See Template Styles for more information.

Country Targeting – Used to determine which countries this template will become available to. See Targeting for more information on targeting selectors.

Background Image – File upload field that allows you to select an image from your device. This image plays a central role in the overall style of the template. The recommended dimensions for this image varies between the templates, see its tooltip for more information.

Logo – File upload field that allows you to select an image from your device. This will be displayed at the top of the template, with its final position determined by the next option.

Logo Position – Dropdown with three choices, allowing you to place the logo on either the left, center, or right side of the template.

Background Colour – Colour picker, used to pick the base colour of the template.

Logo Border Colour – Colour picker, used to pick the colour that surrounds the edge of the logo. This can be turned off entirely, by checking Do Not Display Logo Border. This option is only available with Styles 1 and 3.

Feedback Colour – Colour picker, used to pick the colour that the final feedback text (at the end of the test) will take.

Style 3 Options

Header Image – File upload field that allows you to select an image from your device. This image is displayed across the top of the template.

Alternative Colour – Colour picker, used to pick the colour that underlies the header image.

Once these details have been entered, click the Save button to create the template.
