Connect your Microsoft Outlook calendar to FranConnect so events sync automatically in both directions
Overview
Calendar Sync lets you connect your external calendar, such as Microsoft Outlook, with FranConnect to automatically manage availability, appointments, and scheduling. Events sync in both directions:
- FranConnect to Outlook
- Outlook to FranConnect
This guide walks you through the setup, step by step.

- Click your user name in the top-right corner of the page and select Options.
- Go to Integrator > Miscellaneous > Outlook Calendar.
2. Connect Your Outlook Account
- Click Connect Outlook.
- When the Microsoft sign-in window opens, select your Outlook account or enter your Outlook email address, then enter your password.

3. Configure the Sync Window
After your account is connected, two options appear: Settings and Disconnect.
- Click Settings to set the number of days to sync. This panel also shows the user the calendar sync is being configured for.
- Enter the number of days in Sync Window (days), then click Save.
To disconnect your Outlook account at any time, click Disconnect.
What the Sync Window means
The Sync Window is the range of calendar events synced between Outlook and FranConnect. The number you enter applies to both past and future events counted from today.
For example, if the Sync Window is set to 10 days, the system syncs events from the 10 days in the past and the 10 days into the future, a 20-day range centered on today.
Example: If today is April 16 and the Sync Window is 10, past events from April 6 to April 16 and future events from April 16 to April 26 are synced.
4. Open the FranConnect Calendar
- After you finish the setup, go to Hub > Calendar.
5. Create an Event, Meeting, or Appointment
- In the Calendar, click Create.
- Choose the type of entry you want to add (Event, Meeting, or Appointment), enter the details, and save your changes.
You can create entries in FranConnect or in Outlook; both calendars stay in sync.
6. Run a New Sync
- In the Calendar, click More.
- Select New Sync.
- A pop-up appears with the message New Sync initiated for user Corporate Administrator. (the name shown is the user the sync is set up for).
After this, all events are automatically synchronized between FranConnect and Outlook in both directions.
Synced events appear in both calendars.
