The FDD Sent Date keyword ($FDD_SENT_DATE$) is an FDD keyword that inserts the date an FDD was sent. In this article, we'll show you how to add it to your FDD templates, the FDD Email Template and the FDD / Item 23 - Receipt, in Sales and Information Manager.

Adding the FDD Sent Date keyword to an FDD email template

1. Go to Admin > FDD Management and click FDD Email Template summary.

    

   

2. Click Add Template to create a new template, or open an existing template from the Action menu to edit it.

    

   

3. On the template page, click Keywords for replacement.

    

   

4. In the Keywords List, find FDD Sent Date in the Others group, next to FDD Version. Copy $FDD_SENT_DATE$.

    

   
5. Click in the Subject field or in the email body where you want the sent date to appear, and paste $FDD_SENT_DATE$. Save the template.

Adding the FDD Sent Date keyword to an Item 23 receipt

1. Go to Admin > FDD Management and click FDD / Item 23 - Receipt Summary. Click Add FDD / Item 23 - Receipt, or open an existing receipt to edit it.

    

   

2. On the receipt page, click Keywords for replacement.

    

   

3. In the Keywords List, find FDD Sent Date in the FDD Details group, next to FDD View Date. Copy $FDD_SENT_DATE$.

    

   
4. Click in the receipt content where you want the sent date to appear, and paste $FDD_SENT_DATE$. Save the receipt.

Where the sent date appears

When you send an FDD, the keyword is replaced with the date it was sent. You will see the date in:

• The FDD email (subject and body). If you resend the FDD, the email shows the date of the resend.
• The email sent automatically when a lead's status changes.
• The Item 23 receipt in the FDD portal.
• The signed FDD and Item 23 PDF (download, email attachment, FDD Summary and Documents tab).
