eLearning Dashboards give corporate users, franchisees and location managers insight into training usage, adoption and compliance. Here's what each dashboard covers and how to switch access on per role type.
The feature must be enabled on your platform — contact your CSM or helpdesk@franconnect.com if it isn't. You need admin access to Access Control › Roles and to Command Center settings.
The four dashboards
| Dashboard | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| World Level | Multi-divisional reporting for executives, with universal filters across divisions, locations and time periods, plus test-failure analysis to find content that needs work |
| Store Performance | For location managers — individual staff completions, performance metrics and time spent per module, with access controlled by hierarchy |
| Learner History | A chronological record of resets, attempts, passes and failures, merging event and eLearning logs — useful for compliance and investigating a specific period |
| Self-Service | Quick account analytics, module completion rates and flexible filtering to see engagement across the platform |
PDF and Excel export, cascading filters, analytics for both compliance-based and course-based learning, and cross-divisional reporting.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps to set up an eLearning dashboard for a user type
Create one role per user type
Go to Roles, click Add New Role and create four roles with the privileges shown below, clicking Submit then Assign Later for each.
| Role Type | Role Name |
|---|---|
| Corporate Level | Corporate eLearning Analytics Card Role |
| Division Level | Divisional eLearning Analytics Card Role |
| Regional Level | Regional eLearning Analytics Card Role |
| Franchise Level | Franchise eLearning Analytics Card Role |
Point the dashboard at those roles
In Command Center, open SETTINGS › EMBED › Analytics, go to the MANAGE ANALYTICS tab, find E-Learning Dashboard, choose Edit from the three-dot menu, select your four new roles in Role Based and click SAVE.
Remove any previously selected roles. If E-Learning Dashboard isn't listed on the MANAGE ANALYTICS tab, the feature isn't enabled yet — contact helpdesk@franconnect.com.
Assign users to the roles
Use whichever method suits the number of users.
| Method | Steps |
|---|---|
|
Many users at once Admin › Access Control › Roles |
Find the role, open its action menu and choose Change Users. Set Assign '<role name>' role userwise? to Yes, tick the users and click Assign Role. |
|
One user Admin › Users › <Role Type> |
Find the user, open its action menu and choose Modify. Select the role in FranConnect User Role and click Save. |
Add the new role as an additional role — it must not replace a user's existing roles, since it carries only the limited privileges needed for eLearning Dashboard analytics.
