How often do the items in the My Tasks widget update?

The My Tasks widget is a Dashboard widget that displays new content that has been assigned or targeted to a user. 

If you are an administrator, please note that the My Tasks widget will only update correctly when a user actually logs onto the platform.

This means that during emulation, the My Tasks widget will not display the correct and up to date My Tasks entries. When the user themselves logs in, it will update accordingly.

The following is a list of items that may appear, and the conditions surrounding changes to these items:

Appraisals

An Appraisal has been targeted to the user The Appraisal has been completed and signed off Overnight

Events An Event has been targeted to the user The Event date has passed Immediate
Incidents Reports (Action Plan only) An Incident Report action plan has been assigned to the user The Incident Report action plan has been marked as complete Immediate
Internal Surveys An Internal Survey has been targeted to the user The Internal Survey has been completed Overnight 
KPI A KPI has been targeted for the user to complete The KPI has been signed off Overnight 

Mandatory E-Learning

An E-Learning module has been marked as 'mandatory' and targeted to the user The mandatory E-Learning module has been completed Overnight 
Notices (Replies only) A user has left a reply to a Notice or to another reply in the notice The Notice reply has been read Immediate
Service Desk - Tickets A Service Desk ticket has been assigned to the user The Service Desk ticket has been closed Immediate
Service Desk - Closed tickets (awaiting rating) A Service Desk ticket has been closed and has not yet been rated The Service Desk ticket has been given a rating Immediate

Sign Offs

A Sign off has been targeted to the user The Sign Off has been completed Overnight
Training Academy communication A user has sent a message in the Training Academy suite The message has been read Immediate
Written Tests - Awaiting marking A user has completed a Written Test and is waiting to be marked (Managers only) The Written Test has been marked Overnight 
Written Tests - To be completed A Written Test has been targeted to the user The Written Test has been completed
(graded tests will still appear as 'Not Marked' until the following morning)
