Supported authentication methods for single sign-on

SAML is the supported protocol

The FranConnect Identity Provider Solution supports SAML for authentication. SAML is the only protocol supported at this time.

OIDC is not supported

OpenID Connect (OIDC) is not supported. If you are evaluating a third-party service that only offers OIDC for authentication, it cannot currently be integrated with FranConnect's identity provider. There is no proxy or bridging arrangement available as a workaround.

An enhancement request for OIDC support is open with the product team. As with any enhancement: FranConnect is a SaaS platform, so new capabilities go to all customers once released, on a monthly release cadence. If the request is accepted into the roadmap you will be notified. Commitments in the next two seasonal releases mean it may be several months before it is prioritised, and acceptance is not guaranteed.

If OIDC support matters to your plans, raise it with your CSM so your use case is recorded against the request.
