Article ID: IM-CC-001 | Last Updated: June 2026 | Applies To: Info Manager – Campaign Center
Overview
The Campaign Center inside Information Manager allows franchisors to create and send email campaigns directly to franchise units in their network. Campaigns can be sent immediately or scheduled, and delivery statistics are tracked automatically.
This article covers the end-to-end process: preparing a template, creating the campaign, selecting recipients, and launching.
|
Applies To FranConnect Sky — Information Manager module. Users must have the appropriate role permissions to access Campaign Center. Contact your system administrator if Campaign Center is not visible in your left-hand sidebar. |
Prerequisites
Before creating a campaign, confirm the following:
- You have access to the Information Manager module in FranConnect.
- An email template has been created or is available in Campaign Center. If not, see the section below: Preparing an Email Template.
- The franchise units or groups you intend to target exist in the system.
Step 1: Prepare an Email Template
Campaigns require an email template before they can be sent. If you already have a suitable template, skip to Step 2.
- Navigate to Information Manager using the left-hand sidebar.
- Scroll down and select Campaign Center.
- Click Email Templates.
- Locate the template you want to use. Click the action wheel (gear icon) next to it and select Modify.
- Update the subject line, body content, images, and any merge fields (keywords) as needed.
- Click Modify (Save) to save your changes.
Note: FranConnect supports keyword placeholders (e.g., franchise name, renewal date) that auto-populate when the campaign is sent. To add keywords, position your cursor in the template body and select from the Keywords menu.
Step 2: Create the Campaign
| 1 | Open Campaign Center | In the left-hand sidebar, click Information Manager, then scroll down and select Campaign Center. |
| 2 | Click Create | Click the Create button to initiate a new campaign. |
| 3 | Select Campaign Type | Choose the appropriate campaign type, such as Promotional Campaign. |
| 4 | Name the Campaign | Enter a descriptive name for the campaign so it can be identified later in reporting. |
| 5 | Select a Template | Choose the email template you prepared in Step 1. |
Step 3: Select Recipients
Choose the franchise units or groups that will receive this campaign.
- Individual units:
Search for and select specific franchise locations from the unit list.
- Groups:
Select a pre-configured franchisee group. Groups can be managed under Information Manager > Groups.
Note: Groups must be configured in advance under the Groups section of Info Manager. See the KB article Managing Franchisee Groups in Info Manager for setup instructions.
Step 4: Schedule or Send
Choose when to deliver the campaign:
- Send Immediately:
The campaign will be queued and sent as soon as you confirm.
- Schedule for Later:
Set a specific date and time for the campaign to be sent automatically.
Step 5: Review and Launch
Before submitting, review the following:
- Campaign name and type are correct.
- The correct template is selected and displays as expected.
- Recipient list includes the intended units or groups.
- Send time is set correctly (immediate or scheduled).
Click Launch (or Send) to submit the campaign. A confirmation message will appear.
Post-Launch: Tracking Results
After the campaign is sent, return to Campaign Center to monitor performance. The following metrics are tracked:
- Sent:
Total number of emails dispatched.
- Delivered:
Emails successfully received by recipients.
- Bounced:
Emails that could not be delivered. Review bounce reasons and update contact records as needed.
