The Operations module in FranConnect is a powerful tool that helps franchise businesses run smoothly. It lets franchise owners and staff easily keep an eye on everything from daily tasks to how well each location is doing. With it, you can check if standards are being met, manage training, and see important business numbers all in one place. This module is all about making things easier and helping your franchise grow by making better decisions and improving how things are done. In this article, we will provide you an overview of all of the different sections in the Operations module.

Visit Planner
The Visit Planner page offers an overview of your visit data. Let's take a closer look at the data boxes on this page.
Last 30 Days
The "Last 30 Days" box tracks your visits and tasks in different time increments - the last 30 days, YTD, and the next 30 days.
Recent Visits
The "Recent Visits" box shows you the most recent visits performed at your franchise locations as well as their corresponding consultant score out of 100%. You can click More to be taken directly to a filtered view of the Visits page.
Scheduled/Pending Visits
The "Scheduled/Pending Visits" box shows you your upcoming visits. You can create a new visit in FranConnect by clicking the Create Visit button. To be taken directly to a filtered view of the Visits page, click More.
Number of Visits by Month
The "Number of Visits by Month" box shows you all of your visits sorted by date ranges you can set with the filters at the top of the box.
Tasks
The "Tasks" box shows you open tasks in your system. You can click the More button to be taken to the Visit Tasks page.
Visits
The Visits page documents all of your visits, whether they have been completed or scheduled for the future. There are several ways you can filter the data presented on this page. First, you can use the big box filters at the top of the page.
Additionally, you can also use the FILTERS button to narrow down your visits further by the criteria seen below:
If you want to create a new visit, you can do so by clicking the CREATE VISIT button at the top-right hand side of the page.
You can also export all of your visits from filtered or unfiltered views into an Excel spreadsheet by clicking the EXPORT button.
To view an individual visit, click the visit number of the visit you wish to view. You will be taken to the following page:
From here, you can view the details of the visit as well as the score it received if it was completed. You can edit the visit from this screen as well.
Visit Tasks
The Visit Tasks page gives you a more granular view of your visits by presenting each individual task. These tasks can be filtered using the filter boxes at the top of the page.
You can filter down further using the FILTERS button above the table.
If you wish to export your tasks to an Excel file, you can do so using the EXPORT button above the table.
If you wish to add a task, you can do so by clicking the ADD TASK button above the table.
The following form will pop up to the right of the table.
Fill out the form and click ADD once you have confirmed that your inputs are correct.
Playbook Tracker
The Playbook Tracker page tracks all of the playbooks being used in your franchise network. You can filter your playbooks by their status using the filters above the table.
You can also filter by Franchise ID or Playbook Instance using the filter menu above the filter boxes.
To access a playbook, click on its name.

Next, let's take a look at the Playbooks page.
Playbooks
The Playbooks page gives you a complete view of every playbook in your franchise network. Scrolling down on this page, we see the "Overview" section where each playbook can be viewed individually.
Scrolling back up, you will see that you can filter your results using the status filters above the table.
If you want to see all of the tasks in a playbook, not just the ones assigned to you, you can click the ALL filter above the table.
Scrolling back to the "Overview" section, we can filter our playbooks by status as well.
If you wish to use a more granular filter, you can use the filter icon above your playbooks as seen below.
You can also view your playbooks as a list by clicking the list icon at the top of the page.
Next, let's take a look at the Playbook Tasks section.
Playbook Tasks
The Playbook Tasks page shows you every task associated with a playbook in FranConnect. You can filter these tasks by status using the status bar at the top of the page.
You can also view only your tasks using the MINE filter at the top of the page.
If you wish to use a more granular filter, you can use the filter button at the top of the page as can be seen below.
Next, let's take a look at the Resources page.
Resources
The Resources page gives you an overview of the documentation you have stored in The Hub in FranConnect. To learn how to add resources to this page, please check out our How to Manage Documents and Folders in the Hub Library article.
Notifications
The Notifications page shows you all of the notifications you receive when tasks are assigned to you.
Feed
The Feed page shows you the history of comments and actions that have been made in FranConnect. The Comments tab (seen above) shows you all of the comments that have been left in your system. The History tab (seen below) shows you all of the actions that have been performed on documents in your system.
Finally, we will look at the Reports page in the Operations module.
Reports
The Reports page contains all of your compliance and operations reports. To access analytics reports in this section, you must be subscribed to FranConnect Analytics.
